Passover has been a time of great celebration throughout the history of the
Church. This is the meal that Christ had as He celebrated the Last Supper
with His disciples. It is filled with symbolism and activity that teaches old and
young alike.
Israel considered Passover as a primary part of fulfilling the command of God
in Deuteronomy 6:6 And these words that I command you today shall be on
your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk
of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and
when you lie down, and when you rise.
Passover is a great opportunity for family, fellowship and learning about
God’s sovereignty and His love for mankind.
The traditions and symbols of this feast will portray the Gospel in new and
deeper ways than you may have experienced it in the past and is also a
great opportunity to bring loved ones who may know of the Lord but not truly
know Him.
We need each person or group to bring enough Red Grape Juice for their party and we would
love it if you would volunteer to bring a dish to pass from the menu below.
This is a complete meal and will take a couple of hours but it is a great blessing and most people return the next
year with great enthusiasm!
